Air violin anyone? Seriously though, this is it, the original melody for Hava Nagila that Idelsohn/Nathanson changed, and then added words to. They took this melody and made it a pop tune according to their time period. They did this by limiting the modal content of the A section, and also by limiting the interplay/change of modes in the B section.
